A Day to Remember
Julianne worked as a system analyst for the Department of
Birth Defects (DBD). Her job was coming to an end for the year. In the
meantime, she would look for part-time work. Dorothy, one of the administrators,
told her about getting a placement from the nearby agency. Julianne considered it and made an
appointment with Lois, the staffing advisor.
Julianne following through on her lunch break, she receives a call just
before the end of her shift. It was a call from Lois to begin working on Monday
at a job site about 30 miles away from home.
Since Julianne did not drive, she had to consider taking public transportation.
Julianne was unaware of travelling to this new city, so she called the local
transit line.
Tom, the transit
assistant, picked up the telephone on the third ring. He was pleasant and very
helpful. Julianne proceed to give Tom
all the necessary information explaining that Monday would be her first day of
work and could not be late. Tom responded by saying that she would have to take
two buses with the first one departing
at (6:30am) and the last connection to depart at (7:15am) or three buses which
the first bus would also departing at (6:30am),
connection to depart at (7am) and arriving at the last connecting bus at (8am).
He explained that everything depending on the time she would need to arrive to work.
As Julianne listened and stated she had to arrive at (8:30am) , she would get
more and more exhausted. After much pondering, Tom suggested that she take the
bus that would depart at (7:15am) to arrive at (8:25am) at the corner of her
new job site. The total routed time would take approximately two hours.
On Monday, Julianne was eager to get up and start her day. She
did not know what to wear being this was her first day on her new job. Julianne
tried on three outfits before selecting the green pant suit with black pumps.
Out the door she left. Julianne meet the first bus with no problems arriving in
the town early. It was dark and no one was stirring. She was the only person
moving in that area. Not sure of where to go, she sat on the stairway of the
local library. About (7:15am), her
connection arrived to take her the rest of the way to work. As Julianne got on
the bus, she noticed that she was not the only one commuting.
There was a man sitting in the middle of the bus. He
appeared to be writing something. As she approached her seat, he beginning to
gaze into her eyes with a smile and follow her as she set down. Unaware as to why,
she proceeded by check to see if her zipper was down or maybe her pant leg was
in her shoe. As he continued to look with a smile, he became more and more charismatic
and seemed to be flirting. His smile was infectious and Julianne continued to
look his way just so she could caught him gazing. At first, he had no conversion as they
continued to ride. As more riders got on the bus, they engaged in small talk
and exchanging names. He introduced himself as Samuel.
Samuel was handsome
with dark brown eyes and soft brown skin tone with a great slender physique.
His clothes appeared to fit him like he was a model. He had true magnetism. He kept looking and she kept on looking while
enjoying the complete packet called a man. As the driver pull up to the stop,
he announced the arrival of her destination. As she steps off of the bus,
Julianne supply Samuel her mobile phone number and stated he will call her on his
lunch break.
As her lunch hours approach, Julianne started to clear up her
work area hoping to get a call from Samuel. She sits patiently as her mobile
phone rings. Unable to talk in the office on her mobile, she quickly recited
her work number. Samuel called back his influence
was warm and inviting. As Julianne thought she was a “big girl” and could
handle the flirting, she had another thing coming for Samuel was a master of emotions. He was a model day Romeo. Samuel suggested
that they meet after work and Julianne agreed without hesitation.
There is only one
thing…..
